Scores of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), on Tuesday morning, blocked the Makurdi-Lafia highway over alleged killings by the Fulani herdsmen.
No fewer than 10 persons were said to have killed by the herdsmen in the IDP camp in Abagena, along Makurdi-Lafia highway in Benue State in the early hours of Tuesday.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the protesters blocked the highway with corpses of the killed inmates, causing a gird lock on the busy expressway.

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, who showed up at the highway, appealed to the protesters to open the expressway for traffic flow.
