BREAKING: Reps Panel Chairman Probing NDDC Steps Down

The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission, Mr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo steps down from his position.

The Chairman made the new announcement at the commencement of the ongoing investigation to exonerate himself from being investigated after being accused of crime.

Mr Ojo said, “I want to say clearly that my colleagues and the leadership have passed a vote of confidence on me. However, I will like to excuse myself from this investigative hearing.”

It was recalled that the Interim Management Committee of the NDDC has Tunji-Ojo to step down from presiding over the probe on the premise that he had also been accused of “crime” against the commission.
