Security operatives have arrested the founder of online news platform, Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, in Abuja, EKO HOT BLOG has gathered.
It was learnt that the former presidential candidate was arrested at the Federal High Court in Abuja as the court resumed the trial of the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that security operatives arrested Sowore on the court premises during a Facebook Live session in the early hours of Monday.

EKO HOT BLOG had earlier reported that security operatives, in the early hours of Monday, chased away some IPOB members who had stormed the Federal High Court in Abuja for the trial of Nnamdi Kanu.
The IPOB leader, who was earlier extradited into Nigeria from a foreign country, is facing terrorism-related charges before Justice Binta Nyako.
