BREAKING: Security Operatives Take Over Venue, Stop Yoruba Nation Rally In Osun

• Strategic parts of Osogbo, the Osun State capital, were taken over by heavily armed security operatives in the early hours of Saturday over a planned protest by Yoruba Nation agitators.
• The presence of the security operatives at the proposed venue forced the agitators to choose another location for the rally.

It was learnt that the Yoruba Nation agitators had earlier fixed Mandela Freedom Park, Old Garage area as converging point but changed it to November 27 bridge, around NECO office, Africa Area, Osogbo.

Operatives of the Department of State Service (DSS), Nigeria Police, Joint Task Force(JTF), Amotekun, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC), and local vigilante were seen in the state capital.
