BREAKING: Senate Announces Date To Pass N895.8bn Supplementary Budget

• Senate has announced the date to pass the N895.8bn Supplementary Budget.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, has referred the N895, 842,465,917.00 Supplementary Budget to the Committee on Appropriation.

Lawan gave the directive after the Supplementary Budget meant to tackle insecurity and health-related issues passed second reading at the Senate on Wednesday.

The Senate President, who directed the Senator Barau Jibrin-led panel to submit its report on Tuesday next week, disclosed that the report of the panel would be considered and passed the same day.

EKO HOT BLOG recalls that President Muhammadu Buhari had on Tuesday conveyed the document to the National Assembly for consideration and approval.
