The upper chamber of the National Assembly has put structures in place to investigate the status of 5th Generation ( 5G) network in the country.
The Senate, which ordered the government to put on hold to its execution, mandated the Committees on Communication, ICT, Cyber Crimes, Public Health and Science and Technology to carry out extensive investigation and report back within four weeks.
The resolution of the Upper Chamber was a result of a movement by Senator Uche Ekwunife, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Anambra Central.
