BREAKING: Senate Tells President Buhari To Declare Bandits As Terrorists

Senate has told President Buhari to declare bandits as terrorists.

 

EKOHOTBLOG reports that the Senate has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to declare bandits as terrorists in the country.

 

The Senate made the call at the plenary on Wednesday.

 

EKOHOTBLOG reports that the upper chamber of the National Assembly also asked President Buhari to wage a total war against the bandits, including bombing all their locations, to annihilate and eliminate them.

The Senate further asked the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to declare all known leadership of the bandits wanted and track them wherever they are, for arrest and prosecution.

 

This online news platform reports that these were part of the resolutions of the red chamber after considering a motion sponsored by Senator Ibrahim Gobir representing Sokoto East, and co-sponsored by eight other senators on Wednesday.
