EKO HOT BLOG reports that Simon Ekpa, the self-acclaimed disciple of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has declared a two-day sit-at-home order in the Southeast.
Ekpa made the announcement on Monday via an update posted on his Twitter handle.
He noted that the fresh sit-at-home order is to ensure the unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu.
“If Nnamdi Kanu is not released unconditionally from DSS dungeon and for medical attention for his failing heart by January 22, 2023, there will be sit-at-home in Biafraland on Monday, January 23 and Tuesday, January 24, 2023,” Ekpa’s statement reads.
Recall that last month, Ekpa’s five-day sit-at-home exercise turned bloody as locals were murdered by gunmen enforcing the order.
The Diaspora-based factional separatist leader and his supporters are insisting that there will be no election in southeast Nigeria in February and March.
According to them, “ending Nigeria” is a task that must be done by 2023.
