BREAKING: South-East Governors Meet On Security
- Governors in the South-East region of the country are set to meet in Owerri, the Imo State capital to deliberate on security-related issues.
- As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG, the meeting is confirmed by the Chief Press Secretary to Imo Governor, Oguike Nwachuku, saying the governors would brief the media after the meeting.

Also expected at the meeting are the Brigade Commanders, Navy, Air Force Commanders, Inspector General of Police, Ohanaeze Ndigbo and other stakeholders.
Sources revealed that the governors are meeting to find lasting solution to the recent insecurity challenges facing the zone, particularly the recent jailbreak and attack on Imo Police headquarters that led to release of over 600 suspects in police custody and 1,881 inmates at the Correctional Service Centre Owerri.
