Workers at Lagos State-owned radio and television stations, including Lagos Television (LTV), Radio Lagos, Eko FM, and Traffic FM, have initiated a three-day warning strike.

This industrial action has caused significant disruptions to broadcasting services across these stations.

The planned strike,commenced today Monday, January 13, 2025, and has been organized by the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) and the Radio, Television, Theatre, and Arts Workers’ Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU).

Their primary demand is for the government to migrate union members into the mainstream civil service, thereby ensuring better wages and working conditions.
