[BREAKING] Sunday Igboho: Southern Governors React, Give Fresh Directive To Security Agencies

  • “Resolved that if for any reason security institutions need to undertake an operation in any state, the Chief Security Officer of the State must be duly informed.”

Southern Governors have on Monday agreed that security agencies must notify the state governor, who is the chief security officer of the state before they carry out any operation in the state.

This was made known via a communiqué issued at the end of the governors’ meeting in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State, on Monday.

The communiqué was signed by the Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, who is also the Chairman of the Southern Governors’ Forum.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the Southern Governors, in the communiqué issued at the end of their meeting, further re-emphasised the need for State Police.
