EKO HOT BLOG had earlier reported that a group of Yoruba independence agitators in the early of Saturday commenced a rally at Isinkan Roundabout in the state capital.

Igboho arrived in Akure with many of his supporters in his convoy on Saturday afternoon.

The rights activist, who gained prominence following an ultimatum he issued to criminal herdsmen in the South-West, emphasized that election will not be held in 2023, adding that there is no going back on the agitation for Yoruba Nation.

“Fulanis are now terrorizing us on our land but it’s time for all that to end. All that we have are being controlled by the Fulanis and that is why we are saying that enough is enough. All we want is Yoruba nation and nothing more.”

The Yoruba activist, therefore, appealed to his followers to stop abusing Yoruba elders, noting that they were also not happy with the current situation of the country.
