  • Unknown gunmen suspected to be members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have set another police station ablaze.
  • The latest attack is coming hours after the suspected IPOB militants attacked a police station in Enugu State.

Unknown gunmen suspected to be members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have set the Orji Divisional Police Station in Imo State ablaze.

The suspected militants, EKO HOT BLOG gathered, attacked the station on Tuesday afternoon.

Details of the incident remain sketchy as of the time of writing this report.

However, some residents disclosed that there was heavy shooting in the area on Tuesday.

The latest attack is coming hours after the suspected IPOB militants attacked Iwollo Oghe Police Station in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State.

Some police officers were reportedly killed during the attack while the station was set ablaze as some vehicles were also burnt down.

The Enugu State Police Public Relations Officer, Daniel Ndukwe, confirmed the incident.
