These individuals, who were reportedly arrested on August 3rd and have been in detention since then, are accused of attempting to overthrow the government of President Bola Tinubu by joining the nationwide demonstrations.
As they were being arraigned in court, some of the suspects collapsed, prompting Justice Egwuatu to rise abruptly.
This incident led to panic in the courtroom, with some voices in the background questioning why such young individuals were being brought before the court.
