EKO HOT BLOG reports that four more abducted passengers of the Abuja- Kaduna train attack have been freed.
The cheering news was relayed to the media by a family source on Tuesday.
According to DAILY POST, Professor Mustapha Umar Imam, a medical doctor at the Usman Dan Fodio University Teaching Hospital (UDUS), Sokoto, is among the four freed victims.
Imam was reportedly shot while in captivity but this news platform could not ascertain if any ransom was paid before his release.
Other passengers who were released are Akibu Lawal, Abubakar Ahmed Rufai, Muktar Shuaibu, and Sidi Aminu Sharif.
Kaduna-based Publisher, Tukur Mamu, who has backed out of the negotiations for fear of his life confirmed the latest release.
