EKO HOT BLOG reports that in two separate incidents in Plateau State’s Wase Local Government Areas (LGAs), at least five individuals were slain and hundreds of cattle were rustled in Shegyam and Dogon Ruwa communities.
The attacks were reportedly carried out in the early hours of Wednesday by criminal organizations known as bandits in the area.
The attackers initially assaulted Shegyam, killing two people, before moving on to Dogon Ruwa, killing three more people and robbing hundreds of animals.
The incident has been confirmed by the police. Plateau state borders Kaduna state, which is currently a refuge for bandits.
