The death toll from Lagos helicopter crash has increased as the third person on board the chopper dies.
EkoHotBlog had reported how a helicopter crashed into a building at Opebi, Ikeja, the state capital, on Friday.
Two people were pronounced dead at the scene of the incident while the third was rushed to the hospital.
But Spokesman of the Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB), Tunji Oketunmbi, has confirmed the passing away of the third victim to PUNCH newspaper.
“I am already telling you that. I confirm to you that the third person has died,” The newspaper quoted Oketunmbi to have said.
The victim whose identity is yet to be disclosed died at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja, where he was taken to after the accident.
