BREAKING: Tinubu Meets With APC Caretaker Committee In Lagos
Members of Caretaker Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are currently holding a closed-meeting meeting with National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu at his residence in Bourdillon, Ikoyi.
The committee is led by Yobe Governor Mai Mala Buni and Chairman of Progressive Governor’s Forum Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu.
Others in the closed door meeting include Secretary of Caretaker Committee of APC , Senator Akpan Udo-Edehe and APC Campaign Committee for Edo Election as well as Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
You recall that there are speculations that dissolution of the Oshiomhole’s led national working committee was a way of getting back at Tinubu and cutting him to sizes in order to scuttle his purported presidential ambition.
Tinubu is a known Oshiomhole’s Ally.
What the meeting is about is not known yet but it might not be unconnected to the committee’s effort at rapprochement and fence-mending, and also to quell the rumours that the former Lagos governor has fallen down the pecking order of the party’s hierarchy and not longer a force to reckon with.
