The directive was announced on Tuesday by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, during a news conference in Abuja.
According to Idris, the move aims to ensure transparency and keep citizens informed about the government’s progress.

He emphasized that ministers must not only outline their accomplishments but also be prepared to answer questions from Nigerians.
“The President has instructed that all ministers render an account of their stewardship. This will give Nigerians the opportunity to assess the government’s performance and ask questions where necessary,” Idris stated.
The minister did not specify a timeline for the reports but assured that the process would begin immediately.
