The ceremony took place on Monday at the Council Chambers of the Aso Rock Villa, following the Senate’s confirmation of her nomination last week.
Justice Kekere-Ekun becomes the 23rd CJN and the second woman to hold this prestigious position in Nigeria’s history.
She had been serving in an acting capacity since August, after the retirement of her predecessor, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola.
