EKO HOT BLOG reports that the traditional ruler of Adazi-Nnukwu, His Royal Highness, Igwe (Prof.) Augustine Ikechukwu Obiekezie, is dead.
Adazi-Nnukwu is a town in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The death of the monarch was disclosed by the President-General of Adazi-Nnukwu, Ichie Frank Madubuike, in the early hours of Saturday.
It was gathered that the monarch died on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, after a long battle with Colon Cancer.

It was learnt that the death of the monarch was kept from the general public until it was announced on Saturday.
EKO HOT BLOG further gathered that the family of the late monarch has formally notified the town of the development, adding that further details will be released later in consultation with the state government.
The late monarch, well known as Adama Adazi-Nnukwu, was a former DVC Academics at the University of Calabar, Cross River State.
