Former U.S. President and Republican candidate Donald Trump is projected to win the historic presidential elections in the United States.
Trump has achieved crucial victories in several key states, bringing him closer to reclaiming the White House.
According to EKO HOT BLOG, a candidate needs a total of 270 electoral votes, as determined by the state-by-state Electoral College, to claim the presidency. Currently, Trump has secured 230 electoral votes, just 40 votes shy of the required threshold for victory.
At present, he is leading in all the battleground states and has won in the following states: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia, South Carolina, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Wyoming, Kansas, and Iowa.
Meanwhile, his rival, Kamala Harris, has gained support in the Northeast and some major Democratic strongholds, earning 165 electoral votes.
The states currently projected in her favor include: Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Illinois, and New York.
