Two persons have been feared dead following a gas explosion that rocked the Olúségun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital in the early hours of Thursday.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the gas explosion occurred around 11 am at the Marcque event centre within the Presidential Library.
An eyewitness disclosed that a routine cleaning was being done when one of the gas cylinders in the event centre exploded.

The source further revealed that some dead bodies have been taken by a rescue team that arrived at the scene shortly after the incident.
It was, however, gathered that both gates at the entrance and the exit were under lock and key on Thursday.
Attempts to gain access failed as the guards at the gates sent everyone that wanted to enter back.
Earlier on Tuesday, a Conference Hotel owned by former Governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel, also located in Abeokuta was hit by an explosion.
Two persons were feared dead in the incident while three others were injured.
