BREAKING: Violence Erupts At APC Primaries Collation Centre In Epe

The All Progressives Congress Local Government Election Primaries is not going as scripted at Ward H1, L.G Primary School, Epe Division after violence erupted following a clash between some of the aspirants and their supporters.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the exercise had kicked off peacefully before fierce contestations between the aspirants and their supporters ensued, leading to unrestrained exchange of hostilities between both parties.

The violence reached its climax when military personnel, in a bid to disperse the agitated crowd, released tear gas into the atmosphere, causing residents to scuttle in every direction for respite or safety.

Calm has, however, been restored at the collation centre as at the time of filing this report.
