EKO HOT BLOG reports Sunday Igboho, who was arrested at an airport in Cotonou on Monday night, is still being held by the Beninise authorities.
It would be recalled that the Yoruba Nation agitators had last week protested against the raid of Igboho’s residence by the operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) and demanded the release of those arrested in the residence of the rights activist.
The DSS had raided Igboho’s Ibadan residence in the Soka area on July 1, 2021, arrested about 12 of his aides, and killed two of them in a gun battle.
