Zimbabwean Socialite, Genius Kadungure Dies In Rolls Royce Crash (Photos)

Popular Zimbabwean businessman and socialite, Genius Kadungure, popularly known as Ginimbi, is dead.

The businessman died in the early hours of Sunday, November 8, in a road accident, while on his way home from a friend’s birthday party.

Eye witness said Kadungure was returning home to Domboshava, just outside Harare, after celebrating a friend’s birthday at around 5AM when his Rolls Royce had a head-on collision with a blue Honda Fit on Borrowdale Road.

The Rolls Royce ran off the road and smashed into a tree before catching fire.

Although Kandungure was thrown off the vehicle before it caught fire but died at the scene along with three friends named as – Karim, Elisha and Moana, who was celebrating her birthday.

Our reporter recalled that Ginimbi had shared a video of himself entering his Rolls-Royce and heading to his friend’s birthday party, few hours before the incident occurred.

Confirming the report, Zimbabwe national police Spokesperson Assistant Commissioner, Paul Nyathi, confirmed the incident, said Ginimbi died on the spot.
