EKO HOT BLOG reports that Kingsley Moghalu’s presidential dream has ended in defeat as Roots TV Founder, Dumebi Kachikwu have emerged as ADC 2023 presidential flagbearer.
Dumebi Kachikwu, a media entrepreneur, defeated the former Deputy-Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Kingsley Moghalu to the ticket at the presidential convention of the party held at Abeokuta, Ogun State on Wednesday.
He received 977 votes against Moghalu’s 589. Chukwuka Monye came third with 339 votes.
Dumebi Kachikwu is the younger brother of former minister Ibe Kachikwu.
In a piece of related news, a son of the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland in Kogi State, Prince Malik Ado-Ibrahim, has emerged the presidential candidate of Young Progressives Party (YPP).
He defeated his counterpart, Mrs. Ruby Issac, with over 66 votes. Ruby Issac garnered 4 votes.
