Bring Back Jose Mourinho – Richard Keys Advocates As Pressure Mounts On Potter

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Following Chelsea’s recent 1-0 defeat to Southampton in the Premier League, popular British broadcaster Richard Keys has called for the immediate sacking of the club’s current manager, Graham Potter.

Richard Keys has also suggested that former Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho, be hired to replace Potter.

The broadcaster argues that Potter has “failed miserably” as Chelsea’s manager and that Boehly, the club’s owner, needs to act quickly to replace him.

The Blues have been struggling in recent matches, winning just two games in their last 14 in all competitions. They are currently in tenth position, ten points behind fourth-placed Newcastle United.

Jose Mourinho, who has previously managed Chelsea, is seen by Keys as the best replacement for Potter. According to Keys, Mourinho is “enormously popular with the crowd” and is the “most successful individual the club has ever employed.”

Richard Keys believes that hiring Mourinho would buy Boehly time in his project and be a popular appointment with Chelsea fans.

Keys made his comments during an appearance on beIN SPORTS, where he expressed his strong views on the situation at Chelsea. He argued that the experiment with Potter has failed and that a change is needed to turn the club’s fortunes around.

It remains to be seen whether Boehly will take action in response to Keys’ comments. The owner has not yet made any public statement regarding Potter’s future at the club. Mourinho, meanwhile, is currently without a managerial job after being sacked by Tottenham Hotspur in April 2021.

Chelsea fans will be watching closely to see what happens in the coming days and weeks. With the team’s performances on the pitch falling short of expectations, many will be hoping for a change in leadership to turn things around.
