Buhari Charges Government Agencies On Due Process In Recruiting

President Muhammadu Buhari has charged government agencies on following due process in recruiting.

Buhari stressed that from November 2019, all government agencies must sought approval from appreciate authority before embarking on any recruitment exercise.

The President made this know while delivery the 2020 Appropriation Bill before a joint session of the National Assembly on Tuesday in Abuja.

He said “by end of October, 2019 agencies must obtain approval before embarking on a new recruitment exercise or face sanctions.”

Meanwhile, President Buhari while addressing the joint house apologized for his voice stating that he was suffering from cold due to hard work to meet the National Assembly’s deadline.

He said “Before I proceed to read the details of the budget, let me apologise for my voice.

“As you can hear in my voice, I have cold because I am working hard.

“With, to meet your deadline.”

Buhari however said “I am glad to present the 2020 Budget proposal”
