President Muhammadu Buhari, according to the Association of Koro Communities in Nigeria (AKOCON), needs the support of other Nigerians to combat the country’s unending insecurity.

“As a country, Nigeria is facing its most serious security challenges; our schools, farmlands, highways, and homes are no longer safe. We must all work together to assist President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration in resolving the difficult situation; we have no other country to turn to.”
Mohammed, the newly inaugurated president, praised the Koro royal fathers for their tireless efforts to ensure the group’s survival.
He praised the royal fathers for continuing to be a moral force in Nigerian history, especially by bridging divides of understanding, tolerance, and unity within their realm and beyond.
The president vowed to bring all Koro communities together and build on the founding fathers’ principles.
HRH Muhammed Umar, Agora of Zuba, called on the executives to work together for the common good of all members.
Umar urged them to follow in the footsteps of the founding fathers and provide good leadership that will benefit the nation.
AKOCON was established in 1988 in Zuba and is a body of Koro Communities spread across five Nigerian states: Kaduna, Niger, Nasarawa, Taraba, Benue, and the Federal Capital Territory, with a population of over 20 million citizens.
