EKO HOT BLOG reports that President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to swear in Justice Olukayode Ariwoola as the new Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) today, barring any last-minute changes to the schedule.
This comes after Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad’s resignation due to health issues.
The senior Supreme Court justice at the moment is Justice Ariwoola.
Sources within the presidency predict that he will take the oath of office at 2 p.m. today.
