EKO HOT BLOG reports that President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Assistant on Digital Communications, Bashir Ahmad has fired a shot at former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, over his comment on the ongoing collation of the 2023 presidential election.
In a statement personally signed on Monday, Obasanjo stated that it is no secret that INEC officials, at the operational level, have been allegedly compromised.

The former president said the Chairman of INEC may claim ignorance but he cannot fold his hands and do nothing when he knows that the election process has been corrupted.
Obasanjo further called for a rerun election next Saturday in areas that were marred with violence.
Reacting, Bashir Ahmed opined that Buhari will never interfere with the country’s electoral process halfway.
According to him, Buhari will always allow the electoral institution to work independently.
