President Muhammadu Buhari is yet to decide the fate of the Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Babatunde Fowler four days to the end of his tenure as chairman of the revenue agency.

Fowler has four days left before his tenure as chairman of FIRS expires.
When asked why has the president not sent any letter to the Senate for renewal for the FIRS boss, the senior special assistant to the president on Media, Garba Shehu, noted that the president alone has the prerogative to make such decisions. Adding that, Buhari would disclosed his decision to the public soon.
Meanwhile, the leadership of Fowler has afforded Nigeria the highest revenue recorded in the history of the agency in 2018 with a total sum of N5.3tn.
