Buhari’s Body Language On Insecurity Sending Wrong Signals —PFN
- “President Muhammadu Buhari’s silence on Nigeria’s deteriorating security situation is deafening, and this is very concerning,” Oke said.
The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to speak out against the country’s worsening insecurity and to summon his “kinsmen” who are allegedly killing Nigerians and wreaking havoc across the country.
Bishop Wale Oke, the President of PFN, made the call on Wednesday in Ibadan while receiving the presidents of PFN chapters from Lagos, Ogun, and Osun States, Apostle Enjimaya Okwuonu, Apostle David Otaru, and Prophet Isaiah Adelowokan, respectively, who had come to congratulate him on his election as the body’s President.
Buhari’s silence on Nigeria’s security issues has given Nigerians the impression that he supports criminal herdsmen and bandits terrorizing the people, according to Bishop Oke, founder of the Sword of the Spirit Ministries in Ibadan.

“Seriously, President Buhari’s silence is deafening, and it’s fueling rumors and speculations that the government is complicit in the heinous crime by indulging and pampering bandits and killer Fulani herdsmen, among others.
“Buhari should rise above primordial sentiments and sectional allegiances by doing what is necessary to make Nigeria safer for all Nigerians.”
Oke went on to say that he was using the platform to remind Buhari that he was elected in 2015 because of his military experience and the expectation that he would use it to address the country’s insecurity.
