BUK Final Year Student Found Dead In Hostel
- A final year student of Bayero University Kano (BUK) has been found dead.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that a 400-level student in the Department of Political Science, Bayero University Kano (BUK), is dead.
The female student, identified as Mercy Sunday, it was gathered, died in the Ramat Hall female students’ hostel on Tuesday.
She was said to have died following a fever attack, coupled with vomiting.
The deceased’s roommate, who pleaded anonymity, disclosed that Ms Sunday died in the early hours of Tuesday, shortly after foaming from the mouth.

Confirming the tragic incident, BUK Dean of Student Affairs, Shamsuddeen Umar, said the student died of natural causes.
“She was sick and attended the University clinic where she was taken care of before being discharged to her hostel,” Umar stated.
The BUK Dean of Student Affairs added that the illness resurfaced on Monday night but unfortunately, she died before daybreak on Tuesday.
EKO HOT BLOG further gathered that her remains have been deposited in the mortuary and awaiting autopsy.
