Buni Has No Plan To Serve Out Tenure Of Oshiomhole – Patrick Obahiagbon

• The former Chief of Staff to Oshiomhole when the latter served as Edo Governor, rated the Buni-led CECPC high but refused to compare the two national party leaderships.

Former House of Representatives member Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon, who is a close associate of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, the former National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has faulted speculations the Mai Mala Buni-led Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) planned to stay in office till June 2022.

He dismissed rumor the CECPC plans to serve out the remaining tenure of the dissolved National Working Committee (NWC) led by his former principal, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.

Obahiagbon spoke on Friday at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja in a chat with newsmen.

The former Chief of Staff to Oshiomhole when the latter served as Edo Governor, rated the Buni-led CECPC high but refused to compare the two national party leaderships.

He insisted the two administrations operated at different periods of the party’s life.

The former federal lawmaker also commended the ‘coruscating achievements’ of Governor Buni-led’s national leadership, praising his ‘messianic intrepidity’ since the assumption of office.

Asked to compare the Oshiomhole-led NWC with the Buni’s CECPC and confirm if the current administration was out to serve Oshiomhole’s tenure, he said: “Those issues bordering on democratic matters and I will tell you to dismiss such , fropiles, to speak in platitudinous, rumors, fake news. There is nothing like the Caretaker Committee planning to serve out Oshiomhole’s tenure.

“This CECPC is already progressing towards a National Convention and you can already see work in progress. But mischief-makers and political chichodos are just advised to stop their political mandibular walkabout and put the political jendi back in the bottle. These were the political chichidos I was referring to.

“On comparing Oshiomhole and Buni, I will say that question is an attempt to get at me or anyone to give a comparative analysis between this Caretaker Committee and the Oshiomhole-led APC.

“I want to say to you that the two administrations came into the life of our party at different times and different circumstances. So, there will be no basis at all for me to begin to draw comparisons. But the achievements of this Caretaker Committee, I have already stated achievements inspiration!
