Eko Hot Blog reports that Bunmi Ninalowo, the estranged wife of popular Nollywood actor, Bolanle Ninalowo, has deactivated her Instagram account following the announcement of their marriage crash.
The news of the couple’s separation was made public by Ninalowo in an Instagram post on Friday. He cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
Bunmi has not made any public statements about the separation. However, her Instagram account, which had over 100,000 followers, has been deactivated.
The couple has been married for 16 years and have two children together. They first separated in 2016, but reconciled two years later.
In November 2022, Ninalowo admitted to infidelity in their marriage, but said that they had been working to salvage the relationship.
It is unclear why Bunmi has deactivated her Instagram account. However, it is possible that she is simply trying to protect her privacy during this difficult time.
The couple’s separation is the latest in a string of celebrity divorces in Nigeria. In recent months, other celebrities who have announced their separations include actress Funke Akindele and singer Tiwa Savage.
