Nigerian musician, Burna boy, has hinted that he is not likely to ever sign a deal with an international music label. The Afro-pop sensation said his opinion was formed based on the abnormal things he hears about such deals.
The 27-year-old “Ye” singer, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, made this known in a post on Instastory early Wednesday.
Burna Boy, who said he felt sorry for all those jumping into international deals, stated that he was thankful to his manager and mother, Bose Ogulu, for ensuring that he would never be an “international victim”.
“You guys don’t know what you’re doing. I feel very bad for every single 1 of you,” the controversial musician, who is the grandson of notable music critic and highlife music expert, Benson Idonije, wrote.
He recently hosted musicians, Akon and Jidenna, to a listening party for his yet-to-be-released African Giant album
