Burna Boy: Speed Darlington’s Lawyer Shares New Update on His Ongoing Detention
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Darlington was re-arrested by police in Owerri, Imo State, after returning to Nigeria for a show. He was subsequently transferred to the Police Force Intelligence Department (FID) in Abuja, where he remains in detention.
In an interview, human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju alleged that powerful forces are behind Darlington’s arrest and continued detention, claiming the Nigeria Police Force is infringing on the singer’s rights.
