Burna Boy’s Mum Never Danced For Fela, Seun Kuti Claims

Son of the legendary Afrobeat originator, Seun Kuti has denied the claim that Burna Boy’s mum, Bose Ogulu was Fela Anikulapo’s dancer.

Recall that there have been speculations that Burna Boy’s mum used to be Fela’s dancer while his grandfather Benson Idonije was the legend’s manager.

But in a Facebook comment section, Seun debunked the claim, stating that his father never knew her.

A post by Qed.ng founder, Olumide Iyanda read, “Burna Boy’s mum never danced for Fela.”

Singer, Baba Dee, thereby shared a photo of the late afrobeat star and one his dancers who many believe to be Burna Boy’s mum in the comment section.

In his reaction, Seun wrote: “That isn’t Burna Boy’s mum. Except Burna Boy’s mum is Yemi.”

He later added: “I’m sure my dad didn’t even know her even if Uncle B was his manager.”

The ‘uncle B’ was burna Boy’s grandfather.
