Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has underscored the critical role members of the Business Community must play in facilitating the delivery of Government’s programmes and projects to the citizenry.
The Governor stated this on Wednesday while delivering a keynote address at a forum organised for members of the Business Community by the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency (PPA), held at Sheraton Hotels, Ikeja, Lagos.

Sanwo-Olu, who was represented by the Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Mr. Sam Egube, said it was imperative for the State Government to regularly interact and exchange ideas with members of the Business Community.
He also stressed that the present administration would remain faithful to due process in the public procurement process so that the resources available to the Government could be judiciously deployed to the myriad of developmental needs of the State.
He declared the unwavering commitment of the state government to the full implementation of the Procurement Law, which will guarantee transparency, accountability, and value for money in public procurement.
The governor appealed to members of the Business Community to continue to support and cooperate with the State Government for the successful implementation of the Procurement Law and other policies and programmes of the State Government
