The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled the top five nominees in the men’s categories for the 2024 CAF Awards.
Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman and goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali have made the final shortlist for the prestigious Player of the Year and Goalkeeper of the Year awards, respectively.

Joining Lookman in the Player of the Year category are Ivory Coast’s Simon Adingra, Guinea’s Serhou Guirassy, Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi, and South Africa’s Ronwen Williams.
Nigeria is also a contender for the National Team of the Year award, competing against reigning African champions Ivory Coast, DR Congo, South Africa, and Sudan.
The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on December 16, 2024, in Marrakech, Morocco.
