Calabar Night Club Owner Released From Kidnappers Den

The CEO of Amber Karaoke Lounge night club, Mr. Akeem Ibrahim, abducted on Monday, March 9, 2020, has regained freedom after spending six days in the kidnappers den.

It was gathered that Akeem, also the CEO/Owner of Just Akeems Collection, located along Marian Road, was freed on Saturday night, March 14, 2020.

The Police Public Relations Officer in Cross River State, DSP Irene Ugbo confirmed on Sunday morning in a telephone call that Akeem has regained his freedom.

Though, the circumstances surrounding his release are still sketchy, by DSP Ugbo said: “I can confirm to you that he has been released and he is currently receiving treatment.

“It took the effort of a lot of stakeholders and security agencies that I will not like to mention to secure his release, but he is receiving treatment.

Recall that Akeem, a former bouncer at Jasper 131 night club was whisked away around Ibom Layout and his Dodge car found near Liberty Gospel Church.
