EKO HOT BLOG reports that at a press conference in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Wednesday, Labour Party’s National Publicity Secretary, Abayomi Arabambi, made the call, expressing concerns over Yesufu’s recent public defense against accusations of diverting campaign funds.
Arabambi alleged that Yesufu, Pastor Ighodalo, and other accomplices mismanaged over ₦12 billion and $15 million in donations intended for the Labour Party’s presidential campaign.
He dismissed Yesufu’s denial as a cover-up and accused her of acting on Peter Obi’s orders to defraud the party.
Arabambi also implicated Afenifere leaders, including Pa Ayo Adebanjo, Akin Osuntokun, and Sola Ebiseni, accusing them of holding ₦600 million in private and Afenifere accounts, further alleging that Peter Obi recruited them to engage in fraudulent activities. He called for a thorough investigation into all bank accounts linked to the individuals involved.
