The Nigerian government has officially released the results for the 2024 Professional Examination in General and Post Basic Nursing Programs.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that this release was confirmed in a circular issued by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) on November 10, 2024.
The circular reported a total of 18,139 candidates passing, achieving an impressive overall pass rate of 88%. Heads of nursing institutions are advised to access their results online from Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
In a statement signed by NMCN’s acting registrar, Ngadi Alhassan, it was confirmed: “The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare has approved the release of the November 2024 Professional Examination results for General and Post Basic Nursing Programs.”
The detailed results are as follows: for the General Nursing Program, 12,534 candidates passed with an 88% pass rate; the refresher program had 42 successful candidates, reflecting a 45% pass rate; for Foreign Trained Nurses, 178 candidates passed with a 43% rate; Post Basic Nursing Programs had a high success with 4,513 candidates passing at a 96% rate; and the Community Nursing Program recorded 872 successful candidates, with a 74% pass rate.
