Candidates Unable To Access Portal As Police Recruitment Begins

Candidates applying for the Nigeria Police Force 2020 recruitment have been unable to access the portal despite the exercise starting on Monday.

In a statement signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, CP Frank Mba, on Friday, the police said the portal for the recruitment process would be opened on Monday, October 18, 2021.

Checks on the portal on Monday revealed that only the landing page and the contact page of the portal were accessible, as the tabs labelled “check status” and “print slip” were unresponsive.

The two tabs are meant for the prospective police cadets to check if they are eligible to take the written exams. After that, they are to print out their slips which would be presented on the examination date scheduled for Friday, October 29 and Saturday, October 30, 2021.

Several efforts to reach the Department of Training and Development through the phone number provided on the portal proved futile as there was no response from a representative but an automated voice prompt.
