Canon Launches Discovery Week Campaign
In a bid to give Nigerians the opportunity to develop photography skills and provide tips and tricks in the photography world, Canon kicked off its Discovery Week campaign yesterday in Lagos.
This is even as the image company revealed that it was partnering Sterling Bank to promote the sale of its products.
Speaking during the launch, director, sales and marketing, B2C, Canon Central and North Africa, Amine Djouahra, explained that the objective of the campaign is to give a satisfying customer experience by helping them become familiar with the company’s devices and anticiapte their ever changing needs.
He said, “We aim to maintain this meeting with our customers every year in order to sustain this essential link that allows us to refresh our offerings regularly and launch innovative products that meet or even anticipate our customers’ needs. The first workshop, dedicated to fashion photography, will take place on October 11. The second series will be a Pro-video Workshop on October 17, and the last one will be an EOS R Workshop, which will take place on October 18.
“These interactive sessions give consumers access to tips and tricks on photography & practical knowledge for getting the best out of Canon equipment. By supporting youth to follow their passion through these accessible courses, Canon is empowering the next generation of artists and photographers in Nigeria and Africa.”
Djouahra added that Canon would continue to play its role in each and every picture and video by influencing the lives of its consumers and giving them the chance to improve in emerging technologies, while adding that it has launched a campaign with Sterling Bank to promote product sales.
“We know that Nigeria is a tech addict but conscious of cost as well and that is why we come up with new products. This is why we are also launching a campaign with sterling bank to allow Nigerians to buy our latest high end products with an installment through sterling bank and the campaign is called No Wahala.”
This entails you buying our product and paying later and it has already out and there would be a number you can call which would take you to their call center which in turn would guide you on where to buy and what kind of documents the bank would require”, He noted.
