American rapper Cardi B has opened up about her ongoing divorce proceedings with fellow rapper Offset, revealing that the process has been delayed because he refuses to sign the papers.
The “WAP” hitmaker made this revelation during a recent social media livestream, where she also criticized the Migos rapper for failing to buy Christmas gifts for their children.
Cardi B expressed her frustration, stating, “I didn’t want to do this, but I don’t like when I’m at peace and a motherf****r wants to call me over and over, and then do little s**t behind the scenes to piss me off.” She accused Offset of not prioritizing their children, saying, “You want to see the kids? You just called your daughter for the first time this year yesterday — your newborn.”
The Grammy-winning rapper went on to blast Offset for neglecting their children during the festive season.
“You love your kids so much, but you didn’t buy them something for Christmas. You go to New York to buy your other kids gifts, but you ain’t bought my kids st,” she said, adding, “You’re doing this just to spite me. You’re going to stop fing playing with me, and you’re going to sign these f**ing divorce papers.”
Cardi further accused Offset of using their children as a tool to manipulate her, stating, “Stop using my kids as an excuse. You’re not going to use my kids as an excuse because these are the same kids that you didn’t buy anything for during Christmas.”
This revelation comes despite the couple welcoming their third child together last year. Cardi B had confirmed their separation in December 2023, shortly before filing for divorce.
Fans of the duo continue to speculate about the state of their relationship as tensions between the estranged pairescalate.
