Job Title: Assistant Director Nurse

The Role
The Assistant Director of Nursing reporting to the Director of Nursing, will be responsible for:
- Providing direct quality patient care.
- Develops work schedule and directly supervise the staff by monitoring the different unit managers.
- Responsible for preparation of departmental budget, as well as supplies and inventory.
- Develop reports for licensing and accreditation, and periodically plan and implement staff training seminar.
- Participation in direct patient care, monitoring the work of nurses, including conducting Nursing ward rounds.
- Supervision of the activities of the ward managers to ensure that they are working efficiently and a professional environment is maintained in the facility.
- Evaluates the performance of the staff in the nursing department and presents the reports to the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities

- Nurse Lead on specific areas (e.g. Workforce, Procedures and Protocols) as delegated by the Director of Nursing.

- Organize the Department of Nursing duty manager on call rota.

- Ensure there is robust leadership in terms of environmental and facilities management, in conjunction with the Infection Control Nurse Specialist and Clinical Nurse Managers to achieve excellent external reports on hygiene standards and Infection Control rates across the organization.
- Ensure that there are effective mechanisms in place for the early resolution of complaints and concerns raised by patients / carerers / relatives.
- Ensure full, appropriate and timely responses to formal complaints and that there is a robust process in place to meet internal / external deadlines.
- Assist in the monitoring of nursing budgets.
- Delegate as appropriate to relevant ward staff promoting their leadership roles. Work closely with the multidisciplinary teams, establishing good working relationships to ensure high standards of patient / family care.
- As a member of the senior Nursing Department, undertake accountability and responsibility for the supervision of nursing.

The Role
- The Neurologist who reports to the Executive Director / Head of Medicine will be responsible for diagnosing and treating disorders that affect the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles of patients. They examine a patient’s mental and physical status, conduct medical tests and scans, and evaluate the results to diagnose and treat the patient.
- The role monitors and tracks patient progress, adjusting treatments when necessary. In addition to managing neurological disorders, will also manage general medical patients as required.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose complex medical problems by referring to patient’s history, examining them and conducting neurological tests.
- Counsel patients on neurological disorders and its background.

- The incumbent will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing heart and/or cardiovascular conditions through non-invasive procedures or, when necessary, surgical intervention.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating and managing cardiac and its associated disorders.

Job Title: Credit Manager

The Role
The credit-control manager who will report primarily to the Head of Finance shall be responsible for implementing the credit control and debt recovery policy across the entire chain of hospitals.
Responsibilities
- Ensure prompt reimbursement policies and that all receivable amounts are collected from the debtors on time.
- Ensure constant reminders on outstanding bill updates are sent to debtors
- Plan and implement collection policies and check the effectiveness of such plans.
- Review all collection and credit reports and statements.
- Use latest trends and policies to establish credit limitation stature.
- Develop policies and plans that will improve the cash flow and minimize the amount receivables.
- Manage and review account statements, receivables and payables, balance sheet, etc.
- Preparation and submission of relevant reports and updates on debts outstanding, collection of payments from debtor clients, and recommendations on further necessary action
Qualifications
- B.Sc in Accounting, Economics, Banking and Finance or relevant
field. - 4 years work experience as a Credit Manager, Credit Analyst, or

- Prior experience in the healthcare sector will be an added advantage.
