Liverpool and Chelsea will be playing Champions League football next season after a dramatic final day of the Premier League.
It looked as though the Blues would miss out on a top four finish as they slipped to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Aston Villa.
But three second-half goals from Tottenham handed them a 4-2 victory over Leicester and in the process ensured it was Brendan Rodgers’ men who would miss out on the Champions League.
Spurs’ win also meant they pipped Arsenal to the Europa Conference League spot, with West Ham claiming the second Europa League alongside Leicester place.
